Four people to appear in court charged with assault in County Mayo
Four males have been charged following an assault in Castlebar, County Mayo, on August 23rd, 2025.
Gardaí investigating a serious assault that occurred in the Tucker Street area of Castlebar, County Mayo in the early hours of Saturday, August 23rd, 2025, have charged four people.
The four males — three aged in their 20s and one in his late teens — are expected to appear before Castlebar District Court this morning (Friday, May 22nd) at 10.30 a.m..
Investigations are ongoing after Gardaí received reports of a male unconscious after an alleged assault outside a licensed premises on Tucker Street on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025.
The injured male — aged in his 20s — was removed from the scene and taken to Mayo University Hospital where he was treated for serious injuries.
