A major fundraising appeal for a South Roscommon couple who are both battling serious health problems has raised almost €86,000 in just over two weeks.
Denise (48) and Gerry Collins (53), Rooskey, Bealnamullia are facing massive health challenges while also trying to keep home life together for their three children, Zoe (17), Mia (11) and Jay (10).
The response to the fundraiser to help support the couple and their children has been phenomenal since it was set up a little more than two weeks ago.
