Funeral details have been announced for the young Fourmilehouse woman who passed away on Saturday afternoon following a brave battle with illness.

Rochelle of Castle Manor, Roscommon Town and Fourmilehouse, passed away peacefully on Saturday surrounded by her heartbroken family, in the devoted care of the staff at University Hospital, Galway. 

Adored partner to Michael Murray, cherished daughter to Patricia and Tommy and loved sister to Vanessa, David and the late baby Jonathan, she will be forever missed by her family, sister-in-law, Jade, niece Riadh, aunts, uncles, cousins, the Murray family, her relatives, neighbours and her many many good friends.

She was predeceased by her grandparents Paddy and Agnes Lambe and Johnny and Mary Jo Mullaney and by aunt Margaret Keaveny.

Rochelle who celebrated her 30th birthday last September was a well know Kilbride and Roscommon footballer.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Monday evening from 4 o’c until 7 o’c. Removal from the family home in Rathconnor on Tuesday morning at 10.30  a.m. arriving to St Brigid’s Church, Fourmilehouse for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in Derrane Cemetery.

The Mullaney and Murray family would sincerely like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff who took care of Rochelle so well during her illness. They would also like to acknowledge their relatives, neighbours and friends for their kindness at this time.
