Gardaí appeal for witnesses following County Galway collision

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision which occurred in An Cheathrú Rua, County Galway, on Wednesday, October 22nd.

Gardaí and emergency services responded following a report of a single-vehicle collision which occurred at Bóthar Buí at approximately 9 a.m..

A female passenger (80s) was brought by ambulance to University Hospital Galway, where she has since passed away.

The Coroner has been notified.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling at Bóthar Buí between 8.45 a.m. and 9.15 a.m. on Wednesday, October 22nd, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
