Gardaí arrest motorist who was speeding at 190km/h near Mayo/Roscommon border
The car caught travelling at 190km/h on the N5.
Gardaí have arrested a motorist after detecting a car travelling at 190km/h near the Mayo/Roscommon border.
Mayo RPU (Roads Policing Unit) stopped the car on the N5 near Charlestown.
The driver, who was travelling at 90km/h in excess of the 100km/h speed limit, was arrested and the car was seized.
