Gardai issue warning about counterfeit notes

Gardaí at Carrick-on-Shannon are investigating incidents of counterfeit notes which have been tendered in the last 24 hours in Carrick-on-Shannon and the surrounding areas.
Business owners are asked to check notes received over the last 24 hours, to be vigilant and report any suspected counterfeit notes that have been tendered to Gardai at Carrick-on-Shannon at 071 9650510.
