GE 24 Roscommon-Galway: Michael Fitzmaurice in a commanding position to top the poll

Michael Fitzmauricee, with a tally of 10,011 votes, is set to easily top the poll in Roscommon-Galway, according to the latest tallies.
104 out of 124 boxes have now been tallied with the outgoing Ireland Independent TD in a commanding position to take the first of the three seats.
A few hundred votes separate Sinn Fein's Claire Kerrane and Martin Daly, with both in line to take the final two seats.
Fine Gael's Aisling Dolan on 4,366 of Fine Gael has a lot of ground to make up to catch the other two to be in contention for the last seat while Independent candidate Eugene Murphy's challenge is slipping away.
