Green light for housing development

Last week the local authority gave the green light to the housing development, which will consist of ten semi-detached 3 bed houses; and 16 terraced units made up of ten 2 bed houses and six 3 bed houses in Ballyleague.
The proposal will also see the demolition and disposal of the existing twenty one mushroom houses, an office building and store rooms on the site.
The application by Eugene Kiernan was received in October 2022. Following a request for further information, permission was granted subject to 33 conditions.
