Ideas sought for arts projects along new N5 in County Roscommon

Ideas are being sought by Roscommon County Council for a number of art projects along the new N5.

The council’s arts office last week hosted two public drop-in sessions for local communities connected with and/or bordering the new N5 road project to discuss appropriate themes or topics for a number of ‘Percent for Art’ commissions associated with the works.

Those who could not attend the sessions and have thoughts on suitable themes or topics for upcoming artist briefs, should make contact with Mary Smyth on msmyth@roscommoncoco.ie. The cut-off date for receipt of emails is 5 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25th.
