The Irish Hot Air Ballooning Championships are returning to County Roscommon skies.

The Irish Hot Air Ballooning Championships are set to make a return to County Roscommon skies.
Roscommon County Council in association with the Irish Hot Air Ballooning Championships will this week announce the return of the championships to Lough Key, Boyle.

On Thursday, October 31st, Lough Key, Boyle will be named as the official launch site for the 53rd Irish Hot Air Ballooning Championships taking place in September 2025. 

Full details of the event will be announced on Thursday with some hot air balloons lifting off from the shores of Lough Key.
