An Irish Prison Service vehicle was damaged outside a sitting of Ballaghaderreen District Court earlier this morning, Friday.
The windscreen of the van, which was parked outside the court building, was damaged.
A man in his late 40s was arrested at the scene and is due before the court sitting later this afternoon.
