A St. Brigid’s Cross, believed to be the largest in the country, has been erected in County Roscommon.
Members of Strokestown's Men's Shed have erected the Brigid's Cross on the Bridge at Tarmonbarry — the divide between Connacht and Leinster.
The design has been extended from the simple Connacht Cross last year to the Complex Connacht Cross.
The Cross will be left up for the month of February, as it was last year.
Strokestown's Men's Shed believes that it is the largest Brigid's Cross in the country.
