County Roscommon has moved from a Status Yellow to an Orange wind warning.
Met Éireann is warning of risks of fallen trees, damage to power lines and power outages.
The Orange warning will be in place until 10 p.m. tonight.
Thousands of homes in County Roscommon and surrounding areas are currently without electricity.

Castlerea Demesne is currently closed to the public due to numerous fallen trees, dangerous branches, and flying debris. For your safety, please do not enter until further notice.

Sections of the N60 between Roscommon and Castlerea are flooded, notably the Castlerea side of Ballymoe and the road near Oran GAA pitch.
The Loughlynn Road is impassable to cars in the Cloonard/Loughlynn area due to the river flooding.
