Law firm run by County Roscommon woman wins major regional award

Ballinagare native Joanna Jordan with the “Connaught/Ulster Probate Law Firm of the Year” accolade.
A County Mayo law firm run by a County Roscommon woman was named this year’s winner of the “Connaught/Ulster Probate Law Firm of the Year” accolade at the highly competitive Irish Law Awards 2025.
This prize marks the third time that Castlebar based Jordan & Kennelly Solicitors were recognised by the Irish Law Awards panel. The principal at the firm is Ballinagare native Joanna Jordan.
The Irish Law Awards, which aim to identify, honour, and publicise outstanding achievements, were held in the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin. The ceremony was MC’d by broadcaster Anton Savage, who added his signature wit and charm to the evening.
The Irish Law Awards have become a key event for the legal community. They celebrate the highest standards of practice in Ireland's legal profession with leading professionals gathering to honour excellence across various categories.
The Probate Law Firm of the Year award, sponsored by Currencies Direct, is awarded to solicitors who show exceptional legal knowledge, client care, and innovation in the area of probate law.
