Creggs GAA club has unveiled a memorial bench to “a great clubman”, the late Seamus Keane.
The bench with memorial plaque pays tribute to their former player, chairman and president, who passed away in December of last year.
"In memory of a great clubman, Seamus Keane. His contribution to Creggs GAA was immense. He was a force of nature on the field, a gentleman off it, a legend in every sense," said the club.

Seamus also excelled at many other sports during a long career including being a champion boxer, cyclist and hurler. He also served with distinction with the Roscommon teams of the sixties.
