Local IPAS centre plans ‘no longer under consideration’

Plans for an IPAS centre at the former Costello's Valeview Nursing Home in Ballyleague, Lanesboro is “no longer under consideration”, according to the Department of Migration.
A spokesperson for the Department confirmed that it had previously received an offer of potential accommodation at the former nursing home
for people seeking international protection.
However, the spokesperson said the property is no longer under consideration.
