Loss of water supply in County Roscommon due to repair works

There are reports of loss of water supply in Monksland in South Roscommon due to mains repairs being carried out.
Uisce Éireann (formerly Irish Water) outlined earlier today that the works may cause supply disruptions to Cedarwood Drive, Monksland, Athlone and surrounding areas.
The water utility company outlined that the works are scheduled to take place until 3.30 p.m. today.
The state utility company advised that affected residents allow three to four hours after the estimated restoration time for supply to fully return.
