There has been a low voter turnout for the referendum votes so far today in the county.

Roscommon town 18.8% voter turnout

Castlerea 17.7% voter turnout

Ballinasloe 16.6% voter turnout

Athlone 29.7% voter turnout

Ballaghaderreen 15% voter turnout

It is expected that voter numbers will increase this evening when people finish work.
