A lucky winner has come forward to claim their €250,000 prize from last Saturday night’s lotto draw, the National Lottery has confirmed.
The winning Quick Pick ticket for the top prize in the Lotto Plus 2 draw was sold at Mulligan’s, Londis, on the Roscommon Road, Athlone.
A National Lottery spokesperson said the ticket holder had come forward and arrangements were being made for them to collect their winnings.
Staff at Mulligan’s Londis have been celebrating the good news this week and have wished the winner every success with their winnings.
