The road between Castlerea and Frenchpark will be closed for ten days in August.

Roscommon County Council has announced the closure of a major road in the county for ten days

The R361 between Frenchpark and Castlerea is set to close next month to facilitate resurfacing works.

The road, near Regan’s Tractors, will be closed from Wednesday, August 6th at 8 a.m. until Friday, August 15th at 6 p.m. for resurfacing works.

A diversion will be in place via the N5, R293 and R325, going through Ballaghaderreen and Loughglynn.
