ESB Networks are working to restore power to over 2,000 customers in West Roscommon following a power outage earlier today caused by Storm Bram.
There are 2,287 customers in the Ballaghaderreen area without power with an estimated restore time of 10 p.m. this evening, Tuesday
In the Loughglynn area 10 customers could remain without power until 5 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday.
In the Ballygar area a power outage is causing issues for 14 customers.
According to a spokesperson for ESB Networks weather conditions associated with Met Éireann's Status Orange warnings have led to outages throughout the day as Storm Bram causes substantial damage to the electricity network.â¯â¯
"ESB Networks crews and partner contractors have been deployed to assess the damage, make the network safe and restore electricity supply in challenging conditions. We acknowledge the disruption to family and commercial life this causes and thank impacted customers for their patience as our crews work to safely restore power. We will update estimated restoration times as soon as we have assessed the network damage, and these will be available to view on www.PowerCheck.ie. We advise customers to sign up for our “Keep me Updated” service for power outages on PowerCheck.ie to receive theses status updates directly," said the spokesperson.
