A County Roscommon woman has been presented with the 2025 Maynooth University President's Award for Teaching and Learning.
Dr Lorraine Crean from Ballymurray was presented with the award by University President Professor, Eeva Leinonen.
The President's Awards mark key achievements of Maynooth University staff.
Lorraine previously worked as a teacher in St Comán’s Wood Primary School, Roscommon Town. She has been working as assistant professor and lecturer in the Froebel Department of Primary and Early Childhood Education at Maynooth University since 2022.
