Man arrested following roundabout crash
Damage at the Shannon Roundabout.
Local Gardaí are investigating a road collision that happened in Carrick on Shannon over the weekend.
Gardaí on patrol at Bridge Street in the town attempted to stop a car at around 2:30am on Sunday, February 8th.
“The driver failed to stop and the car was subsequently involved in a collision at the Shannon roundabout,” Gardaí said.
A man, aged in his 30s, was arrested and subsequently charged to appear before Carrick-on-Shannon District Court at a future date.
