Gardaí told the Roscommon Herald that they were alerted to a fatal workplace accident at a premises in Boyle on the evening of Monday, April 15th.
A man aged in his 40s was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) was notified and attended the scene, Gardai said.
