Match of the day for Roscommon rugby star as he weds today

Connacht rugby star and Kiltoom native Jack Carty marries his fiancée Sarah Twaddell today, Thursday.

Jack Carty, who has 11 caps for Ireland, weds Sarah, who is a commercial interior designer and founder of Anekdote Design.

A former Roscommon and St. Brigid’s underage footballer, Carty has made over 200 appearances for Connacht and is one of Roscommon's most popular sporting stars.

The 32-year-old rugby outhalf also played underage soccer for the Republic of Ireland.
