'Mechanical issue' causing water disruptions for County Roscommon customers

Uisce Éireann crews are working to restore water supply to customers in South Roscommon.

Uisce Éireann crews are this afternoon, Sunday, working to restore water supply following a mechanical issue at the  Killeglan Water Treatment Plant in South Roscommon.
The fault is impacting supply to customers in Brideswell, Corrowduff, Taughmaconnell, Dysart, Moore, Parkmore, Kilgarve, Ballydanagan, and the outskirts of Ballinasloe town in County Roscommon.

Uisce Éireann's Ger Greally said that they "understand how inconvenient an unexpected water outage can be. Our crews are working to restore supply following a mechanical issue at the treatment plant which has impacted production. We really appreciate everyone in the community bearing with us while our crews get water back to homes and businesses."
