More than 1,000 homes in County Roscommon and surrounding areas still without power since Friday

More than 1,000 homes and businesses in County Roscommon and surrounding areas are still without power since Friday due to damage caused by Storm Amy.
ESB crews have restored electricity to the majority of customers in the county and surrounding areas but more than 1,100 customers are still without electricity.
Boyle, Arigna, Ballyfarnon, Glenamaddy, Williamstown, Ballinlough and Frenchpark are among the areas still affected.
Roscommon County Council crews have cleared many of the fallen trees since the storm hit but there are several local roads and access areas still impassable due to flooding.
