Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury single-vehicle road traffic collision in County Mayo.

A motoryclist was airlifted to hospital following a serious road traffic collision in County Mayo on Sunday.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following the serious injury single-vehicle road traffic collision that occurred at Creggaunbaun, Louisburgh on Sunday, September 21st.

The collision occurred at approximately 12.30 p.m.. A male motorcyclist (aged in his 60s) was brought by air ambulance to University Hospital Galway, where he is in a critical condition.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward. They are also appealing for any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the area between 12 noon and 1 p.m. to make this footage available.
