Motorists are being advised of a week-long road closure as works are set to get underway on the hill outside the village of Castleplunkett.
Motorists are being advised of a week-long road closure as works are set to get underway on the hill outside the village of Castleplunkett.
Motorists travelling from Strokestown/Tulsk/Castleplunkett to Castlerea are advised that the R377 at Castleplunket will be closed from this Monday, January 12th to Friday, January 16th.
Diversions will be in place via the R367/N60.
According to local councillor Paschal Fitzmaurice the closure is to facilitate the resurfacing of the hill at Castleplunkett as promised.
