New offices of Local Area Employment Service to open in Roscommon

The Mayo Roscommon Local Area Employment Service (MRLAES) has announced the opening of new offices in Roscommon Town.

The new premises, located at Unit 7, Roscommon West Business Park, Golf Links Road, Roscommon, will be opened by Minister for Rural and Community Development and The Gaeltacht, Minister for Social Protection, Mr Dara Calleary TD at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 30th.

MRLAES provides its service users with a path to forming connections with local employers, further education training opportunities and other services in their communities.

“Our close and constant contact with local employers and local training facilitators ensures that everyone who walks through our doors seeking career counselling will receive the most up-to-date information on available vacancies and opportunities, best suited to their situational needs,” says Orlagh Denneny, manager of Mayo Roscommon Local Area Employment Services. 

“Our comfortable new office space will allow our dedicated and committed case workers to help members of our community as they travel on their journey back to employment or back to education.”
