New principal appointed to County Roscommon school

A new principal has been appointed to Elphin Community College.
The college recently welcomed Anne Gilleran, the incoming principal, and Sinead Farragher, Director of Schools for the Galway and Roscommon Education and Training Board (GRETB), ahead of Ms Gilleran taking up her role.
During their visit, both Ms Farragher and Ms Gilleran met with staff and engaged with students, expressing their enthusiasm for supporting the school's initiatives and ongoing work.
The Elphin school community looks forward to collaborating closely with Ms Gilleran as she steps into her new role, while also benefiting from the leadership and guidance of GRETB's director of schools.
