Aurivo is holding a series of shareholder information meetings this week about ongoing discussions with Dale Farm regarding a proposed merger.
“These are private meetings for Aurivo shareholder members only,” a spokesperson for the co-op told the Herald. “Their purpose is to provide members with information on the background to the discussions, outline the strategic rationale being considered, and give them an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback.” The spokesperson added that no binding agreement has been reached.
“Any proposal would be subject to approval by Aurivo shareholders and the relevant regulatory approvals,” he said. “As a co-operative, Aurivo believes it is right that shareholder members are informed and consulted first on a matter of this importance.”
