Party like its 1999 at the 1980s charity disco

Fancy dress disco in aid of the Mayo Roscommon Hospice.
Friday, August 9th is a day you are asked to 'Open your Heart' and kindly support the Mayo Roscommon Hospice.
You can do so by 'Making your mind Up' to attend an 1980s fancy dress disco to help support this very well-known and deserving charity.
So please, 'Come Dancing' to the 'House of Fun' at Nancy's Nightclub, Castle Street, Roscommon on this date for what promises to be a 'Thriller' of a night. Doors will open at 10 p.m..
Fancy dress costume is optional. However, you may say 'Let's go Crazy' and dress up in 1980s' fashion.
If you decide to wear your baggy trousers, rara skirt, leg warmers, dungarees, mullet, perm, big hair wig or neon colours, you are in with a chance of winning a spot prize. These spot prizes are generously donated by businesses in Roscommon Town.
If you do not wish to dress up, you are still very welcome to attend. It's a great opportunity to 'Turn back Time' and dance to pop music from your youth and reunite with friends whom you may or may not have been in contact with for months or years.
Seamus Duke is our dedicated DJ for the night.
A raffle shall also be held and if you have a sound knowledge of 1980s music, you are in with a great chance of winning one of the many other prizes which are also donated by local businesses.
By the end of the night, let's hope that you will be singing 'I've had the time of my Life'.
Tickets cost €10.
The tickets are available at present from Hynes's Pharmacy, Castle Street; Donnellans Lady's wear; Fleming’s SuperValu, Main Street; and Molloy's Bakery, Abbeytown.
You can also buy your tickets on the night.
