Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian at St. Patrick Street, Castlerea, on Friday at approximately 8.30 p.m..
The male pedestrian (aged in his 60s) was brought to Mayo University Hospital for treatment of injuries believed to be not life threatening.
Gardaí say that investigations are continuing
