Connacht rugby star and Kiltoom native Jack Carty enjoyed a fairytale wedding with his fiancée Sarah Twaddell in Wicklow.

Jack Carty, who has 11 caps for Ireland, wedded Sarah, who is a commercial interior designer and founder of Anekdote Design.

The newly-weds celebrated their nuptials last Thursday with family and friends in glorious sunshine at the Killruddery House and Gardens in Bray, Co Wicklow.

A former Roscommon and St. Brigid’s underage footballer, Carty has made over 200 appearances for Connacht and is one of Roscommon's most popular sporting stars.

The 32-year-old rugby outhalf also played underage soccer for the Republic of Ireland.
