Polling update: Voter turnout over 50% in some areas

Turnout has now hit over 50% in some areas of the constituency with just two hours to go before the polls close.
Several polling stations across Roscommon-Galway have seen a steady increase in footfall this evening as people made their way home from work.
These were the figures at 7.30 p.m..
Boyle: 56.7%
Castlerea: 49.08%
Roscommon:42.8%
Galway: 42.5%
