Ignatius Gannon opened the business in 1968. Today was an emotional day for Ignatius and his colleague Joe who have been looking after the people of Castlerea and beyond for years.

A steady stream of well-wishers called to the business today to wish Ignatius and Joe well and to recall many memories before the key was turned for one last time.
