A popular café business has announced its closure decision.

Tegi’s Tearoom in Carrick-on-Shannon announced on its social media pages that it is to close from April 28th.

“It is with deep sadness that I have decided to close my Tearoom in Carrick-On-Shannon,” said owner Regi Brennan.

“I have spent over six years in my business, both in Roosky village and Carrick-on-Shannon. My decision is very much due to personal reasons. In that time I have made many great friendships, and it’s those moments and times I know I will miss the most,” she said.

“I very sincerely want to thank all of you, my loyal customers, for the great support you have given me over the past years, both in Roosky, and in Carrick-on Shannon. I will really miss you. I would like to wish you all good health, and happiness, in the future,” said Tegi.

Reacting to the news dozens have customers have posted on-line wishing Tegi well, recalling the great service and business provided over the years.
