A popular County Roscommon pub is celebrating 150 years in business this year.
To mark the occasion, Clancy’s Bar, Knockvicar — located between Ardcarne and Keadue — presented kitbags and tops to the St. Michael’s men’s intermediate panel alongside the St. Michael’s/St. Ronan’s junior ladies' football panel ahead of both teams’ championships.
The club thanked Ann and Michael McGonigle, congratulating everyone in Clancy’s Bar on their historic milestone and wishing the pub many more successful years to come.
Clancy’s Bar is one of North Roscommon’s famous watering holes, playing a huge role in the social fabric of the local community and beyond.
