A major consultation on a riverside park for Tarmonbarry is underway.

Roscommon County Council has appointed a multi-disciplinary team led by Cunnane Stratton Reynolds to prepare a feasibility study for a riverside park, an ambitious development along the banks of the River Shannon.

The local authority wants to hear the views, thoughts, ideas and opinions of the local community, organisations and groups, explore potential options and project ideas together, and work towards creating a shared vision for Tarmonbarry Riverside Park and its environs.

A drop-in information session will take place today, Tuesday, July 7th from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Keenan’s Hotel and Restaurant, Tarmonbarry.

A consultation portal will remain open for submissions until Tuesday, July 14th.

Views and feedback can also be provided by email to regeneration@roscommoncoco.ie, before close of business on July 14th.
