Public invited to Lough Funshinagh consultation
Flooding at the lake has been repeated and devastating over the last ten years
Members of the public are being invited to a Lough Funshinagh public consultation event taking place at the Hodson Bay Hotel.
The ‘Lough Funshinagh Climate Adaptation Project Public Consultation Event No. 4 (Emerging Preferred Corridor)’ will be held on Monday, September 21st in the Hodson Bay Hotel, Hodson Bay from 4-8 pm.
Roscommon County Council says that the meeting is open to all members of the public. Representatives from the project team and Roscommon County Council will be in attendance to discuss the issues with the public.
Submissions can be accepted at the event or from Monday, September 21st until Monday, October 19th 2026 via consult.roscommoncoco.ie
