A record price of €16,000 was achieved for a Belgian Blue heifer at the Winter Fair in Carrick-on-Shannon today, Monday.
The animal, weighing 644kg, was owned by McKinney Brothers from Letterkenny. It sold for €16,000 at the Winter Fair.
