Road closures announced by Roscommon County Council
Roscommon County Council has advised of several road closures.
Roscommon County Council has advised of several road closures in the Castlerea area in order to facilitate necessary road improvement works.
Works are now underway and the roads will remain closed until Saturday, May 11th.
The roads in question in the Castlerea engineering area are:
L65991 Hundred Acres, temporarily closed - (no diversions);
L6618 Pollanalty East, diversion via R327/N83/L6614/L6616;
L6671 Gorteenacammadil, diversion via L66715/L66005;
L66005 Moigh Lower, temporarily closed - (no diversions);
L6594 Coolcam, temporarily closed - (no diversions).
The council advises that "there may be an increased likelihood of delays on these roads as a consequence. Emergency services and local access only will be accommodated."
