Roscommon brothers carry flags for major soccer match at Aviva Stadium

Two Roscommon brothers had their dreams come true this afternoon, Sunday, when they carried the team flags for the Bohemians v Shamrock Rovers game at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. 

Conor and Lorcan Concannon, sons of Sinead and Brian Concannon, Roscommon Town, are both pupils at Coman’s Wood National School.

Conor won the chance to carry the flags when he took part in a colouring competition while undergoing a heart check at Crumlin Children’s Hospital.

While at the hospital Conor took part in the Barretstown organised competition and his winning picture was printed on the match day programme today. Conor won the VIP tickets and the chance to carry the flags, which he shared with his brother.
