Roscommon businesses win at wedding awards
Two County Roscommon businesses have scooped prizes at the prestigious weddingsonline.ie awards. The highly anticipated 2026 winners were revealed earlier this week.
Kilronan Castle was recognised at the ceremony for its attention to detail and stunning location, taking home the title of Waterside Venue of the Year.
Overlooking the scenic Lough Meelagh, the venue was highly praised at this year’s award ceremony.
Located in Ballyfarnon, North Roscommon, Kilronan Castle is noted as “one of Ireland’s hidden gems” and boasts a 5-star rating on weddingsonline.ie. Reviewers noted staff members’ attention to detail, saying “the team were amazing, every detail was discussed and agreed, no ask was too big”.
The 200-year-old castle is steeped in history and fully equipped with all the contemporary comforts, making it all brides' dream venue for their special day.

The second win for County Roscommon came from Ballinlough based business, The One I Love, which won Bridalwear Supplier of the Year. This was not the first time the business has been recognised by the awards. In 2025, it was a finalist in three separate categories: Bridalwear Supplier of the Year, Bridesmaid Supplier of the Year and Bridalwear Designer of the Year.
The business is noted for its “quick replies and smooth coordination”, setting it as a highly favourited option for brides and bridesmaids alike.
The winners were revealed at a Gala Awards Ceremony on Monday 9th March at the Mount Wolseley Hotel, County Carlow.
