Roscommon children raise hundreds of euro for local hospice

Three Roscommon children were praised for raising hundreds of euro for the local hospice over the Christmas period.

The Mayo Roscommon Hospice congratulated the girls on their fantastic efforts and generosity.

"A massive thank you to Julie Coyne, Kate Rose Hoare and Katie Glynn from Oran, Roscommon who went out on the Wren on St Stephen’s Day and raised an incredible €845," it said. 

Oran Football GAA Club also congratulated the girls on their good work.
