Roscommon man’s 50 year service on school board of management celebrated
Aidan Malone received a presentation from Bishop Kevin Doran in appreciation of his 50 years in the service of Catholic Education.
A local man’s incredible 50 year service on Drumboylan National School’s board of management was recently recognised with a special presentation.
Aidan Malone was presented with a piece of crystal by Bishop Kevin Doran for his 50 years in the service of Catholic education.
Aidan was among those who attended a special Mass to celebrate the mission of school boards in the Dioceses of Achonry and Elphin.
“Aidan’s hard work over the years is very much appreciated by everyone near and far,” said the school.
