Roscommon Special Olympics Club hopes to make it six in a row

The annual soccer match between Roscommon Gardaí and Roscommon Special Olympics Club will take place this Friday at the Roscommon Community Sports Park.

They will be vying for the Máire Allen Memorial Cup, named in honour of the much loved Roscommon Town woman who sadly passed away in 2023. Máire was a volunteer with many local organisations, including Roscommon Special Olympics Club.

The match, which will kick off at 7pm, will see the club attempting to make it six in a row against Roscommon Gardaí, who themselves are hoping for a long overdue win.

All are welcome to come along and support this great evening of fun, music and banter.
