Roscommon stories about Titanic to feature on RTÉ’s Nationwide
The Titanic sank on April 14th, 1912.
Stories from County Roscommon about locals who perished and survived on the Titanic will feature on RTÉ’s Nationwide this evening (Friday).
The popular programme will visit Roscommon and Cork to hear stories about Irish people who were on board the ill-fated ship 112 years ago.
This weekend, Cobh and Belfast are preparing for events to mark the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic on April 14th, 1912, which claimed 1,500 lives.
The programme airs on RTÉ One television at 7 p.m..
