Roscommon student selected for U-16 Irish basketball squad

A young County Roscommon student has been selected for the U-16 Irish basketball squad.
Second Year student at the Convent of Mercy, Roscommon Anna Assis has been selected to represent Ireland.
Anna is a highly skilled player.
The school said that it was thrilled that she had made this highly competitive team and that her talent was being recognised at national level. All are looking forward to following her progress over the coming season.
